Here is my second Spacemouse, the Navigator. I originally had a Spacemouse Plus Serial. My primary use is 3D Modeling software. I’m currently using Solidworks 2012 have used the Spacemouse since 2004ish. Makes working in the 3D environment so much easier. Unfortunately, the mouse stays at work and I don’t have one at home. I also do some video editing and need to look into possible interfacing with the editing software.

I think Jim is showing off more than just his spacemouse.|
But since he was nice enough to include the website on that 4th massive monitor...

Just noticed on your wiki thing, a call for user photos of spacemice :)
So here's a photo of my two devices, a serial 4000FLX and a USB Space Navigator.
I'm using them for controlling my various 3D graphcs hacks, such as arbitrary 3D effects, model viewers, scene editors, or realtime raytracers. And sometimes, travelling around google earth :)
John is also the maintainer of spacenav, an opensource driver for 3DConnexion devices.|
It also looks like he has a Model-M keyboard there in the background....
He is obviously a man of good taste. :)
